The Dance of the The Puppet

According to Missing Links, former Iraqi interim Prime Minister Iyad Allawi, widely derided by a broad cross section of Iraqis as a Western puppet and roundly rejected by the voters in the last election, now  has renewed optimism about his future  prospects given that Washington has confirmed that Prime Minister Maliki is on "borrowed time." 

So much for liberating Iraq from a dictator and sowing the seeds of Democracy.
